Description

This is a truly unique list of the e-mail addresses of the named most senior IT executives in medium to large sized UK organisations who are users of the Microsoft Exchange Server product.

Exchange Server, the Microsoft messaging and collaboration server, is software that runs on servers that enables companies to send and receive electronic mail and other forms of interactive communication through computer networks. Designed to interoperate with a software client application such as Microsoft Outlook, Exchange Server also interoperates with Outlook Express and other e-mail client applications.

E-mail messages are sent and received through what is commonly referred to as a client device such as a personal computer, workstation, or a mobile device including mobile phones or Pocket PCs. The client typically connects to a network of centralized computer systems comprised of servers or mainframe computers where the e-mail mailboxes are stored. The centralized e-mail servers connect to the Internet and private networks where e-mail messages are sent to and received from other e-mail users.

Accuracy

All e-mail adresses were verified within the last 3 months; organisations who no longer use the Microsoft Exchange Server product are automatically removed from the e-mail database.

Output formats

Data is supplied as an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt) file, on CD-Rom or via e-mail. The comma-delimited text format is the default format for the despatch of our lists, as it is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge; however, if you would prefer to receive your list in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access format, you will be able to note this in the "Comments" box, when you place your order.

Delivery

Data is dispatched on CD-ROM or via e-mail, as specified in our online shop; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.

CD-ROMs are sent by first class, recorded mail.
