Companies on this database spent between £50,000 (lowest) and £30 million (highest) on consultancy during the last financial year and assignments ranged from basic cost/benefit assessments to innovative new business/venture appraisals, simple data analysis/warehousing projects to major IT infrastructure and strategic restructuring tasks. The list was compiled and is owned by Clear Blue. All data was collected by means of questionnaire and all contact names were verified by telephone.

Data structure

The following fields are supplied, as standard, for each record: Named most senior executive (MD or equivalent), job title, company name, full company address including PAF verified postcodes, (telephone number), salutation.

Output formats

Data is supplied as either an ASCII comma-delimited text (.txt), Microsoft Excel (.xls), or Microsoft Access (.mdb) file, on floppy-disk, CD-Rom or via e-mail. The comma-delimited text format is the default format for the despatch of our lists, as it is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge; however, if you would prefer to receive your list in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access format, you will be able to note this in the "Comments" box, when you place your order.

If you would like to test the different formats, you can download a sample database in each of the formats to try out with your software; the data in these sample files is solely intended to test technical compatibilty and does not contain any records from this particular list.

Data is dispatched on floppy disk, CD-ROM or via e-mail; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.
